Welcome

The mission of the Region 10 Regional Response Team (RRT) and the Northwest Area Committee (NWAC) is to protect public health and safety and the environment by ensuring coordinated, efficient, and effective support of the federal, state, tribal, local, and international responses to significant oil and hazardous substance incidents within the Pacific Northwest Region as mandated by the National Contingency Plan (NCP). We are also committed to providing for the development of the NWAC plan and coordination of preparedness activities prior to a pollution incident by addressing regional and international issues and providing guidance to industry, State Emergency Response Commissions, Tribal Emergency Response Commissions, and Local Emergency Planning Committees.

2023 Task Force Products Open Comment Period February 5th - March 5th, 2024

 2023 Task Force Products are posted for public review on the Reference Library Section of the website. 

The public is invited to provide comments though the Submit Comment feature of the website.

The open comment period will close on March 5th, 2024. 

 

Marine Safety Information Bulletins

USCG D13 has issued two Marine Safety Information Bulletins (MSIB 22-20, 23-20)alerting facility response plan (FRP) holders and vessel response plan (VRP) holders operating in Sector Columbia River and Sector Puget Sound Captain of the Port Zones of changes to the area contingency planning constructs affecting coastal areas of response.  FRP and VRP holders may review those in the RRT/NWAC Refrence Library
