Geographic Response Plans

These Geographic Response Plans (GRPs) have been posted for review by local, state, tribal, and federal agencies to use as a guide to protecting natural and cultural resources during the initial response to oil spills in a geographical area.  They outline recommended spill containment strategies that initial responders can use to alleviate some of the confusion that frequently accompanies emergency response actions.  As with any response plan tied to geographical information, these GRPs are living documents, subject to change based upon changes in local conditions and available resources.  As such, your comments, corrections, and recommendations based on any new information about the geographical areas or strategies contained in the GRPs below are welcome and may be submitted through the website on the comments page.
